What underwear to wear under sports leggings?
Today, the sports legging needs to be able to do so much: it needs to shape the figure well, not be too transparent, emphasize the butt (though I'm not a huge fan of the trend with the seam that pulls into the butt...), sit high enough, and not slide down.
But what about the underwear underneath?
Material
First and foremost, it must be breathable. This means it must be made of high-quality materials. For this reason, professional sports usually rely on a polyamide/elastane blend. And in the best case, Lycra® elastane is used, as it is the professional athlete among elastanes in terms of its properties. This prevents unnecessary moisture in the pants, as optimal wicking of body fluids is ensured. Furthermore, this prevents infections, which are not to be neglected in the intimate area – especially with thongs, this happens more easily. It is also important here that the crotch is lined with pure cotton.
Cut
Which brings us to the next topic, the cut: No one wants to walk around in tight leggings with a "divided butt" (when the panties show across the butt). Unfortunately, no matter how well-trained the butt is, it always looks like a wobbly butt. This means we end up with the classic thong. But even here, there are differences between a narrow strip in the butt (ouch!) or, for example, a Brazilian thong, which – without leaving marks under clothing – covers part of the butt, makes a good figure, and thus has a comfortable wide band.
Fit and Support
Then the panties should fit snugly – without cutting in and without rolling down or slipping at every opportunity. Only firmer materials that do not wear out can achieve this – which brings us back to the polyamide/Lycra® combination.
Seamless
And in general, the underwear should be seamless and still combine the above-mentioned properties. This works best with a new laser-cut bonding technology. This means the fabric is seamlessly cut with a laser, and to seal and reinforce the edges, they are sealed with a band and the so-called bonding technology with heat. This gives the seamless panties support and further prevents the product from wearing out. And it also contributes to the fact that women do not feel the string in the butt area, as this is rightly the dealbreaker for many women when it comes to wearing thongs at all. Because there have already been ladies who ended up in intensive care because bacteria were added to the so-called chafing in that area... Some girls do not wear any underwear under their sports leggings for this reason (out of pure desperation due to lack of choice).
Special Effect
And last but not least, wouldn't it be cool if the panties also prevented the so-called camel toe (when the pants pull forward into the crotch and depict the female genitalia) and thus also the uncomfortable pulling into the crotch through a lightly padded crotch!? This way, you would no longer have the tugging, e.g., with short sports leggings that tend to pull painfully into the crotch, and you would generally protect yourself from glances in leggings!?
I have taken all of this to heart as a startup and designed the perfect sports underwear for under leggings with ByeByeToe®:
